Lydia Dodge Forest

The Lydia Dodge Forest is a large parcel located along Old Coach Road as the southern boundary. The town transfer station and New Boston Forestry Committee Christmas Tree Plantation are contained in an area that is excluded from the management plan of this property. The Lydia Dodge Forest contains a large portion of the New Boston Trail. Access to the New Boston Trail can be found in the parking area across from the Bob Todd Forest property, as well as along Old Coach Road and the Sherburne Forest property.  This trail explores the property from East to West as well as passing by the Clark Swamp overlook area. On this property there is a wealth of ecological diversity, tree species and wildlife alike.
