The New Boston Police Department offers 24 hour police coverage and is comprised of 10 full-time and 2 part-time sworn Officers. We are supported by a full-time Administrative Assistant and a part-time Records Clerk. We are located just 20 minutes west of Manchester within Hillsborough County and serve a community of over 6,000 residents.

THE FOLLOWING CHARGES AND ALLEGATIONS ARE MERELY ACCUSATIONS, AND THE ACCUSED ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

FELONY ARREST

Marchiani

On October 1, 2022, WILLIAM R. MARCHIANI, 30, OF LARGO, FLORIDA was arrested on multiple Felony offenses following an investigation by the New Boston Police Department.  Mr. Marchiani was charged with two Class A Felony counts of Receiving Stolen Property, one Class B Felony count of Receiving Stolen Property, one Misdemeanor A count of Receiving Stolen Property, one Class A Felony count of Unauthorized Use of a propelled vehicle, and one Class B Felony count of Possession of a Controlled Drug.  During the investigation, the New Boston Police recovered a 2017 Ford F250 reported stolen out of the State of New Jersey, a 2016 Shadow Cruiser Camper reported stolen out of the State of Pennsylvania, and numerous articles of jewelry, metal, and copper also believed to be stolen.  The investigations into the jewelry and copper are ongoing.         

The Class A Felonies each carry a penalty of imprisonment in excess of 7 years.  Class B Felonies each carry a maximum penalty of 1 to 7 years in the New Hampshire State Prison. The class A misdemeanor carries a maximum penalty of 12 months in the House of Corrections.  Mr. Marchiani was scheduled to be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court – North on October 23, 2022 as he was held on preventative detention following his arrest. 

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Mr. Marchiani is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Members of the New Boston Police Department were assisted by the Brookline, NH Police Department in the investigation of this case.

 

FELONY ARREST

Davis

On September 13th, 2022, the New Boston Police Department arrested DAMIEN DAVIS age 47, of Methuen, Massachusetts.  DAVIS was charged with one Felony count of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault – victim under 13, and one Felony count of Felonious Sexual Assault – victim under 13.  The arrest stems from incidents that occurred between 2007 and 2012 and was reported by the victim in July of 2022 who was known by Mr. Davis. 

A Personal Recognizance bail was set, and DAVIS was released pending arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court - North, on a date to be determined by the court.

 

FELONY ARREST

Barss

On September 13th, 2022, the New Boston Police Department arrested WALTER M. BARSS age 58, of New Boston, New Hampshire.  BARSS was charged with two Felony counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, and four Misdemeanor counts of Sexual Assault.  The arrest stems from an incident that was reported on August 20th, 2022 by the victim who was known by Mr. Barss. 

A Personal Recognizance bail was set, and Mr. Barss was released pending arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court - North, on a date to be determined by the court.

 

FELONY ARREST

Bemis

On October 25th, 2021, the New Boston Police Department arrested KEVIN P. BEMIS, age 38, of Manchester, NH.  Mr. Bemis was charged with the Felony “B” offense of Operating after Certification as a Habitual Offender.  Mr. Bemis was also charged with the Misdemeanor “A” offense of Operating After Revocation/Suspension; DUI, and the Class B Misdemeanor offense of License Required. 

BEMIS was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined by the court. 

 

FELONY ARREST

Austin

On August 20th, 2021, the New Boston Police Department arrested GLENN R. AUSTIN, age 63, of Weare, NH.  AUSTIN was charged with the Felony “B” offense of Operating after Certification as a Habitual Offender.  Mr. Austin was also charged with the Misdemeanor “B” offenses of Operating After Revocation/Suspension, False Report to Law Enforcement and False E-911 information. 

AUSTIN was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined by the court. 

 

FELONY ARREST

Richter

On August 7th, 2021, the New Boston Police Department arrested DANIEL S. RICHTER age 37, of New Boston, New Hampshire.  RICHTER was charged with one Felony count of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, and three Misdemeanor counts of Sexual Assault.  The arrest stemmed from an incident that was reported on the same date by the victim who was known by Mr. Richter.

A Personal Recognizance bail was set, and Mr. Richter was released pending arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined by the court.

 

SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST

Wood

On June 15th, 2021, the New Boston Police Department arrested BRIAN J. WOOD age 52, of Belmont, NH.  Mr. Wood was charged with two Class "A" Misdemeanor counts of Sexual Assault - victim over age 13.  The arrest stems from an incident reported by the victim on June 7th, 2021 who was known by Mr. Wood. 

A Personal Recognizance bail was set, and WOOD was released pending arraignment on September 9, 2021 in the Goffstown District Court.

 

FELONY ARREST

Siwik

On June 15, 2021, the New Boston Police Department arrested MATTHEW S. SIWIK, age 39, of MANCHESTER, NH.  SIWIK was charged with two counts of the Felony “B” offense of Theft By Unauthorized Taking.  The arrest resulted from an investigation that was reported on May 25, 2021. 

Mr. SIWIK was issued a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined by the court.

 

FELONY ARREST

DEPAUW

On April 27, 2021, ANGELA DEPAUW, 41, OF GREENVILLE, NH, was arrested on the Felony “B” Charge of Operating after Certification as a Habitual Offender.  Ms. DePauw was also charged with the Misdemeanor “A” offense of DUI and the violation level offense of License Required.  She was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic.   

FELONY ARREST

WALLER

On April 8, 2021, NANCY WALLER, 65, OF NEW BOSTON, NH was arrested on two counts of Abuse of a Facility Patient, Second Degree Assault, and Simple Assault.  Ms. Waller is a Registered Nurse employed at Rose Meadow Farm, an assisted living facility in New Boston, New Hampshire. The charges allege that, on December 23, 2020, Ms. Waller broke a resident's fingers as she was prying them off the resident's call bell. The charges further allege that Ms. Waller then prevented the resident from being examined by outside medical professionals.

The Abuse of Facility Patient charges and the Second-Degree Assault charge are class B Felonies that each carry a maximum penalty of 3½ to 7 years in the New Hampshire State Prison. The Simple Assault charge is a class A misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of 12 months in the House of Corrections.  Ms. Waller will be arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court – North on a date to be determined.

The charges and allegations are merely accusations, and Ms. Waller is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Assistant Attorney General Stephanie J. Johnson and Senior Assistant Attorney General Thomas T. Worboys of the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, are prosecuting this case. Sergeant Timothy Loveless of the New Boston Police Department and Investigator Robert Freitas, also of the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, investigated this case.

Under New Hampshire law, the Attorney General is responsible for the prosecution of health care facility employees charged with willful abuse, mistreatment or neglect of a patient. Health care facility employees suspected of abusing their patients should be reported to the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit [(603) 271-1246], your local police department, or the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services [(800) 949-0470].

FELONY ARREST

MACKENZIE

On April 1, 2021, WILLIAM MACKENZIE, 40 of PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND was arrested on the Felony “A” charge of Receiving Stolen Property as well as a related Misdemeanor “A” Receiving Stolen Property charge.  During the overnight hours of April 1st, Officer Andrew Vollaro was on patrol when he encountered MACKENZIE in a stolen vehicle from Bedford, NH.  Officer Vollaro was assisted on scene by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.  During Officer Vollaro’ s investigation, it was learned MACKENZIE was being investigated by the Henniker Police Department for a similar offense, and had been released on bail the prior day by State Police Troop B.  Mr. Mackenzie was issued a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic.  He was released back into the custody of the NH State Police.  The case remains under investigation by the New Boston, Henniker, Bedford, and Auburn Police Departments, as well as the NH State Police.   

FELONY ARREST

RILEY

On February 9, 2021, DENNIS RILEY, 44, OF NEW BOSTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony charge of being a Fugitive from Justice out of the State of Florida.  On February 9th, Sergeant Case responded to a domestic disturbance at the Friendly Beaver Campground where contact with Mr. Riley was made.  Mr. Riley was wanted in the State of Florida for a Parole violation.  He was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Correction pending his arraignment in the Goffstown District Court on February 10, 2021. 

FELONY ARREST

On February 9, 2021, a 15-YEAR-OLD MALE JUVENILE, of NEW BOSTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony charges of Possession of Child Sex Abuse images (3 counts) and Manufacturing Child Sex abuse images (2 counts).  This investigation initiated with a Cyber-Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).  The New Boston Police Department was assisted by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task force, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the Amherst Police Department.  The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (NH ICAC) Task Force was established in 1998 and is responsible for investigating cases of child sexual exploitation involving the use of high technology throughout the state of New Hampshire. Such crimes include child prostitution, online solicitation of minors, and the possession, manufacturing and distribution of child sexual abuse images.  The juvenile was released to his parent.  The case is being prosecuted by the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office.      

FELONY ARREST

On January 27, 2021, a 16-YEAR-OLD MALE JUVENILE, of MANCHESTER, NH, was arrested on a Felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug and the Misdemeanor “B” offenses of Acts Prohibited and Possession of a Marijuana infused product.  The Juvenile was released to his parent with Juvenile Petitions pending in the Goffstown District Court. 

FELONY ARREST

Morse

On December 27, 2020, FORREST MORSE, 35, of WASHINGTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony “B” charges of Possession of a Controlled Drug and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic.   

FELONY ARREST

CARTAGENA

On December 24, 2020, JERRY L. CARTAGENA, 49, OF MANCHESTER, NH was arrested on the Felony “B” Charge of Operating after Certification as a Habitual Offender and Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.  Mr. Cartagena was also charged with the Misdemeanor “A” offenses of Aggravated DWI, Disobeying an Officer, Prohibitions of Driver License, Manufacturing/Possession of a False ID, and the violation level offense of Open Container.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic.   

FELONY ARREST

ST AMAND

On December 14, 2020, BENJAMIN ST. AMAND, 28, OF NEW BOSTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony “B” Charge of Falsifying Physical Evidence (two counts) and a Misdemeanor “B” offense of Hindering Apprehension.  The charges resulted from a three-month investigation conducted by Officer Nathan Knezevic following a motor vehicle accident involving a DUI arrest from September 13, 2020. Mr. St. Amand was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic. 

FELONY ARREST

Burlock

On December 4, 2020, JENNIFER BURLOCK, 44, of BOW, NH, was arrested on the Felony “B” charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug.  Ms. Burlock was also charged with the Misdemeanor offenses of Driving After Revocation/Suspension, and Suspension of her Vehicle Registration.  She was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic. 

FELONY ARREST

Emerson

On November 27, 2020, FRED EMERSON, 36, of PENACOOK, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug; Schedule 1-4.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic.

Putney

On September 5, 2020, at 1115pm, Officer Marmorstein was stopped along the shoulder of Route 114 near Hemlock Drive (North Mast Road) when a southbound Toyota Tacoma, operated by:

Age: 25

Hometown: Billerica, Massachusetts

traveled out of the southbound lane and across the breakdown lane where it struck the driver side rear of the stopped cruiser.  The Tacoma traveled down the entirety of the driver side of the cruiser and continued southbound for another 793 feet before the vehicle became inoperable due to collision damage.

Fortunately, neither Officer Marmorstein nor Putney were injured in the collision.  The cruiser damage will likely result in a total loss.    

Following the collision, Putney was contacted by Officer Matthew Sullivan who responded to the disabled Tacoma and made observations of impairment.  Putney was subsequently arrested for DUI.    

Mr. Putney was charged with DUI, Criminal Mischief and a drug offense.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled for a Case Status hearing on November 12, 2020 in the Goffstown District Court.

The collision and arrest cases both remain under investigation.  The New Boston Police were assisted by, and would like to thank, the Goffstown Police Department who are handling the collision investigation.

HALL

On August 31, 2020, JOSEPH HALL, 32, of NASHUA, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of operating after being certified as a HABITUAL OFFENDER.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on a date to be determined due to the ongoing pandemic. 

 

FELONY ARREST

Lamy

On July 15, 2020, the New Boston Police Department arrested CHANTELLE C. LAMY , age 22, of New Boston, New Hampshire. The arrest follows an accident investigation from April 25th, 2020.  On April 25th, 2020 at 1756 hours, the New Boston Police Department responded to Lyndeborough Road for a reported, single vehicle into a tree, collision involving five occupants.  Ms. Lamy was identified as the driver of the vehicle and two occupants suffered serious bodily injuries.  Evidence on scene indicated speed and alcohol contributed to the collision.  An arrest warrant was subsequently issued by the Goffstown District Court for Ms. Lamy's arrest.  She is charged with Violation - Reckless Operation, Felony B - Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with Serious Bodily Injury (two counts), Misdemeanor A - Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and Misdemeanor B - Driving While Intoxicated (two counts).  Ms. Lamy turned herself in on the arrest warrant and was released on a Personal Recognizance bail.  She is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court at a future date to be determined by the Court due to the ongoing pandemic.

Perreault

On March 28, 2020, the New Boston Police Department arrested SCOTT MATTHEW PERREAULT, age 32, of Seabrook, New Hampshire.  PERREAULT was charged with one count of being a Felon in Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm), and two misdemeanor offenses of Operating with a Suspended Registration, and Possession of a Controlled Drug

A Personal Recognizance Bail was set, and PERREAULT was released pending arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court on May 7, 2020.

 

FELONY ARREST

Perry

On March 26, 2020, the New Boston Police Department arrested JAMES DONNIS PERRY, age 28, of Nashua, New Hampshire.  PERRY was charged with one count of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, four counts of Attempted Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, and one count of Obstructing Government Administration. 

A Personal Recognizance Bail was set, and PERRY was released pending arraignment in the Hillsborough County Superior Court on May 7, 2020

The charges stem from an incident at an “Air BnB” in New Boston, NH on March 14, 2020 where an adult female was sexually assaulted. 

Officers from the New Boston Police Department were assisted in the investigation by investigators from the Hillsborough County Attorney’s office and Nashua Police Department.   

 

FELONY ARREST

Lambert

On February 23, 2020, MATTHEW LAMBERT, 46, of MANCHESTER, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of operating after being certified as a HABITUAL OFFENDER.  He was also charged with Operating After Suspension for a DUI offense.    He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on March 12, 2020.

 

FELONY ARREST

Downey

On December 6, 2019, SCOTT DOWNEY, 38, of NEW BOSTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of 2nd Degree Assault - Strangulation; 2nd Degree Assault Domestic Violence, and Misdemeanor Charges of Simple Assault - Domestic Violence and Simple Assault.  He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on December 19, 2019. 

On February 19, 2020, Mr. Downey was Indicted by the Hillsborough County Grand Jury.  His trial date is pending. 

 

CONDUCT AFTER ACCIDENT ARREST

Isabelle

On May 14, 2019, Erik Isabelle, age 28, of Manchester, NH, was arrested pursuant to an arrest warrant and charged with the Class B Misdemeanor offense of Conduct After an Accident and Criminal Mischief. 

On March 21, 2019, at 11:30am, Officer Andrew Vollaro investigated a two-car Motor Vehicle Collision on High Street at the entrance of TD Bank in New Boston.  Following the collision, the vehicle operated by Isabelle immediately left the scene.  NBPD requested assistance through social media in identifying the vehicle, however no leads were developed.  

One week later, Officer Andrew Vollaro stopped Isabelle for a separate violation and made observations of his vehicle and damage that were consistent with the High Street collision.  Subsequently, a search warrant was obtained and evidence obtained during the search confirmed the vehicle was involved.  Officer Vollaro prepared an arrest warrant which was issued by the Goffstown District Court.  Isabelle turned himself on the warrant on May 14th and has cooperated with the investigation.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Goffstown District Court on June 27, 2019 at 0815 am

On April 25, 2019, MICHAEL TREMBLAY, 26, of CONCORD, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of operating after being certified as a HABITUAL OFFENDER.  He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on May 9, 2019.

 

RECKLESS OPERATION ARREST

On April 5, 2019, KITENGE TSHOMBA, age 45, of Greenfield, NH was arrested for the violation level offense of RECKLESS OPERATION.  It is alleged that at 2:32pm, while traveling on Bedford Road approaching Baker Lane, TSHOMBA passed two vehicles, including a school bus transporting children, across a double yellow line and within a construction zone while approaching the work area that was limited to a single lane of travel.  TSHOMBA was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Goffstown District Court on  May 30th 2019.

 

FELONY ARREST

HARTFORD

On March 25, 2019, WALTER E. HARTFORD, 54, of NEW BOSTON, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of operating after being certified as a HABITUAL OFFENDER.  He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on April 11, 2019.

 

Conduct After Accident Arrest

French

On March 11, 2019, Michael French, age 25, of Dunbarton, NH, was arrested pursuant to an arrest warrant and charged with the Class B Misdemeanor offense of Conduct After an Accident. 

On December 15, 2018, at 9:20am, French was involved in a single Motor Vehicle Collision on Byam Road in New Boston.  The collision took down power lines and caused power outages in the area while repairs were made.  Following the collision, French left the scene.  He was identified over 8 hours later as part of the ongoing investigation conducted by Officer Ben Tokarz and Sergeant Stephen Case.  Subsequently, a warrant was sought for his arrest and he turned himself on the warrant on March 11th.  He was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Goffstown District Court on May 2, 2019 at 08:15am.    

 

Burglary Arrest

On March 6, 2019, following a year-long investigation into the January 2018 Burglary at a  Hooper Hill Road residence, a 17 year old Juvenile male from Goffstown, NH, was arrested.  A co-conspirator in the crime was also arrested on January 18th.  The second arrest officially clears the case as Juvenile Petitions were filed in the Goffstown District Court.  We would like to commend Officer Jesse Byam for his perseverance and effort in bringing this case to a close. 

FELONY ARREST

Grenier

On March 5, 2019, Ryan Grenier, 19, of New Boston, NH, was arrested on the Class B Felony offense of  Manufacturing a Controlled Drug (Marijuana) and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol (violation).  Grenier was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and  is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court – North on March 21, 2019.

 

RECKLESS OPERATION ARRESTS

HANDRAHANLAFONTAINE

On January 29, 2019, COREY LAFONTAINE, 23, of WINDHAM, NH and DANIEL HANDRAHAN, 52, of GOFFSTOWN, NH were both arrested on a single count of Reckless Operation.  While on routine patrol on Bedford Road, Officer Andrew Vollaro observed two vehicles that appeared to be racing.  It is alleged they were involved in a road rage incident and both vehicles were observed passing vehicles across a solid yellow line while traffic approached nearly causing head-on collisions.  Both were released on Personal Recognizance and are scheduled to appear in the Goffstown District Court on March 7, 2019 at 8:15am.          

SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST

WOODLAND

On January 26, 2019, CHRISTOPHER M. WOODLAND, age 37, of Dunbarton, NH was arrested on the Class "A" Misdemeanor offense of Sexual Assault.  It is alleged Woodland engaged in sexual contact with a 15 year old minor on November 18th, 2018.  Following the investigation conducted by Officer Nathan Knezevic, a Warrant was issued by the Goffstown District Court for Woodland's arrest.  He was released on Personal Recognizance and is scheduled to appear in the Goffstown District Court on March 7, 2019 at 8:15am.

   

BURGLARY ARREST

On January 18, 2019, a 17 year old Juvenile was arrested on charges related to the February 5th, 2018 Burglary of a residence on Cemetery Road.  The arrest was the result of a year-long investigation conducted by Officer Jesse Byam.  Juvenile Petitions were filed in the Goffstown District Court.  A second arrest is also pending related to the same incident.    

 

FELONY ARREST

Clough

On January 9, 2019, Jacob M .Clough, 34, OF MANCHESTER, NH was arrested on a Class “A” Felony offense of IDENTITY FRAUD and one Class "B" Felony offense of THEFT BY UNAUTHORIZED TAKING.  The arrest followed a seven month investigation conducted by Officer Andrew Vollaro. 

It is alleged that between November 2017 and February of 2018, Clough posed as the victim to obtain over fourteen hundred and fifty dollars ($1450).  Clough was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County - North Superior Court on January 24, 2019 at 1pm.

On December 12, 2018, ROBERT D. WALLER, 65, OF NEW BOSTON, NH was arrested on two Class “A” Felony  offenses of THEFT BY DECEPTION.  

The Arrests stemmed from investigations that began on August 21st and August 22nd, 2018.  Arrest Warrants for each of the offenses had been issued by the Goffstown District Court prior to his arrest.  

WALLER was released on a Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court on December 27, 2018 at 1pm.

ARREST

On November 8, 2018, ERIK J. MALOUIN, 45, OF NEW BOSTON, NH was arrested on the Class “A” Misdemeanor offenses of VIOLATION OF A RESTRAINING ORDER, BREACH OF BAIL, AND HARASSMENT.  

The Arrest stemmed from ten week long investigation that began on August 26th, 2018.  An arrest warrant had been issued prior to his arrest.   

Malouin had been previously arrested by the New Boston Police Department on March 5, 2018 for the offense of Harassment.  The Breach of Bail and Violation of a Restraining order charges resulted from his prior arrest. 

Harassment is a Domestic Violence related offense as outlined in NH 173-B:1. 

MALOUIN was transported to Valley Street Jail in Manchester, NH where he was held overnight.  On November 9, 2018, a $500 Cash bail was set in the Goffstown District Court.  He is next scheduled to appear in Goffstown on January 10, 2019 at 11am.

FELONY ARREST

On October 31, 2018, JOSEPH BISSONNETTE, 40, of MANCHESTER, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charge of operating after certified as a HABITUAL OFFENDER.  Bissonnette was also charged with the Misdemeanor offense of DISOBEYING AN OFFICER.  He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court- North, on november 15, 2018.

 On October 18, 2018, DENISE A. ATKOCAITIS, 55, of New Boston, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charges of CRIMINAL RESTRAINT AND KIDNAPPING.  ATKOCAITIS was also charged with the Class "A" Misdemeanor offense of ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD.   

The Arrest stemmed from a month long investigation that began on September 5, 2018. An Arrest Warrant was issued on October 17, 2018 and ATKOCAITIS was arrested on October 18, 2018 without incident.

Regarding the Kidnapping offense, ATKOCAITIS is accused of confining a minor, under the age of 18, with the purpose to terrorize.  Regarding the Criminal Restraint offense, ATKOCAITIS is accused of confining a minor, under the age of 18, in circumstances exposing said child to risk of serious bodily injury.  Regarding the Endangering offense, ATKOCAITIS is accused of endangering a child under the age of 18, by purposely violating a duty of care, protection or support owed to such child.   

ATKOCAITIS was released on a Personal Recognizance Bail and is scheduled to appear in the Hillsborough County Superior Court on November 1, 2018 at 1pm.

On October 19, 2018, THOMAS S. ATKOCAITIS, 57, of New Boston, NH, was arrested on the Felony Charges of CRIMINAL RESTRAINT AND KIDNAPPING.  ATKOCAITIS was also charged with the Class "A" Misdemeanor offense of ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD.   

The Arrest stemmed from a month long investigation that began on September 5, 2018. An Arrest Warrant was issued on October 17, 2018 and ATKOCAITIS was arrested on October 19, 2018 without incident.

FELONY INDICTMENT

On August 15, 2018, RONALD H. GEARLES, age 57, of Manchester, NH, was indicted on the Felony charge of CRIMINAL THREATENING (USE OF DEADLY WEAPON). 

The indictment stemmed from an incident on June 12th, 2018, at 3:58pm, on Bedford Road in New Boston.  Officer Andrew Vollaro and Officer James Moran responded to the scene and made contact with a female victim, who reported being a passenger in the vehicle Gearles was operating when he threatened her with a knife.  Gearles fled the scene following the incident.  With the assistance of the Manchester Police Department, Gearles was subsequently located and taken into custody. 

He is scheduled for trial in the Hillsborough County Superior Court (North).

FELONY ARREST

On September 9th, 2018, CRAIG R. ROWELL, age 35, of New Boston, NH, was arrested on the Felony charge of SECOND DEGREE ASSAULT.  Rowell was also charged with the Class A Misdemeanor offenses of:  DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT, SIMPLE ASSAULT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRIMINAL THREATENING, CRIMINAL THREATENING, FALSE IMPRISONMENT, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, & BREACH OF BAIL CONTIONS.

The indictment stemmed from a domestic violence incident that began on September 8, 2018 and was reported to Officer Jesse Byam on the morning of September 9, 2018.  A warrant was issued on the evening of September 9th and Rowell was arrested at his home without incident.  He was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Correction and arraigned in the Hillsborough County Superior Court on Monday September 10, 2018.       

He is scheduled for trial in the Hillsborough County Superior Court (North).
