Senior Reading Program

2026 Sign-ups will start in December 2025!

Can you spare 20 minutes once or twice a month?

Listen to a child in Readiness &/or 1st Grade read and watch them develop reading skills.

  • Promotes community, bridges generations, and boosts the confidence of children.
  • Kids love to have someone to read to and it is great to see the progress they make over a few months.
  • Thursdays from 10:30am - 10:50am. Stay for lunch after! Senior lunch is from 11am-Noon.
  • The program starts in January and continues through May. If there is no school scheduled on a Thursday or school is closed due to weather, there will be no reading that day.

To sign up or for more information contact Sheri at 603-487-2880 or Email Assistant Director
