Yoga at the Whipple Free Library

A moderate to faster-paced class. More advanced postures will be explored with variations given for all levels.  Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement".  While moving from one posture to the next, alignment of the breath with the movement will be cued.  Sun Salutations will start the class, then progress through standing and balance postures.  Seated postures and backbends will end the class along with either a guided meditation or quiet Savasana.

The health and fitness benefits of yoga have long been reported by practitioners and are now being confirmed by scientific research. Yoga can help you: reduce stress, reduce pain, breathe better, increase flexibility, increase strength, manage weight, improve circulation, condition the cardiovascular system, focus on the present and find inner peace.

Come relax your mind and strengthen your body in this all levels Vinyasa flow class with Christel Caron, RYT. Christel received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga NH in Concord, NH and is a Certified ChildLight Yoga Instructor. In her teaching, she emphasizes proper alignment as well as a mind-body connection.

The class will be moderately paced and offer full variations to each of the poses presented. Breath awareness is emphasized and a visual relaxation will end the class.
