Halloween 2024

Visit the Old Engine House (New Boston Recreation office) from 6:00-8:00 p.m. as part of your downtown trick-or-treat route.

As always the New Boston Recreation and Whipple Free Library welcome donations of candy/treats. The village area of New Boston receives a high volume of Trick-or-Treaters and your donation helps to defray their expense. We distribute your donations to the residents in the village area.

More New Boston residents will have the opportunity to participate in the town’s Traditional Trick-or-Treat fun. New Boston residents will be able to register for a limited number of parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot so they can park and decorate their vehicles for incoming Trick-or-Treaters. They are encouraged to dress in costume and hand out treats to Trick-or-Treaters. Since the New Boston village is the central location for most Trick-or-Treating, this event will add more stops for the Trick-or-Treaters and include more families who may not get Trick-or-Treaters at their homes. There will also be a contest for the best decorated vehicles. Make it a family affair and have fun with it!

  • Register your vehicle for one of up to 12 parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot for $10.
  • Registration starts Monday, September 30 online HERE
  • You can park, set- up, and start decorating at 4:45pm (must be parked by 5:30pm).
