Transfer Station By promoting responsible waste management, the transfer station team not only protects the environment but also ensures that public funds are used efficiently and sustainably.

Investing in Our Future.A Commitment to Reliable Services and Community Safety After 50+ years of battle-tested use, New Boston’s Bunting Station had deteriorated. It had structural deficiencies, lacked important safety requirements, and no longer met the National Fire Protection Association’s standards. With fire and safety calls continuing to rise year over year, the Town’s dedicated staff understood the pressing need to find a solution. They researched, applied for, and were awarded a $9,285,576 grant from the U.S. Department of Defense Community Infrastructure Pilot Program. Thanks to the New Boston Fire Department’s dedication to serving & protecting the safety of our community, we now have a state-of-the-art fire station that will provide reliable emergency services to New Boston residents for years to come.
