Public Notice Town of New Boston Warrant Articles Anyone wishing to submit a petitioned warrant article for the official ballot must present it to the Select Board office, with the signatures of at least 25 registered voters by 5:00 PM, Tuesday January 13, 2026. Filing Period for Town Offices ∙ January 21st thru January 30th Persons interested in being a candidate for the following town offices may file for these positions starting January 21, 2026. The deadline for filing is 5:00 PM on January 30, 2026. Persons wishing to file should contact the Town Clerk’s Office at the New Boston Town Hall. There is no filing fee. Cemetery Trustee (1) Three (3) year term Fire Wards (2) Three (3) year term Library Trustee (2) Three (3) year term Moderator (1) Two (2) year term Select Board Member (1) Three (3) year term Supervisor of the Checklist (1) Six (6) year term Treasurer (1) Three (3) year term Trustee of Trust Fund (1) Three (3) year term Public Budget Hearing A Public Budget Hearing to be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 6:30PM at the Whipple Free Library. Deliberative Session The Deliberative Session for the Town Warrant will be held in the New Boston Central School gym at 6:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026. (Snow date; Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 6:00 PM) THE PUBLIC IS URGED TO ATTEND. Official Voting (SB2) Voting will be by official ballot (for ALL warrant articles and elected positions) on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the New Boston Central School, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Absentee ballots will be available from the Town Clerk’s office.
