New Boston Rail Trail Community Clean Up

This Saturday, April 20th from 8:30am-11am
Event Date:
Saturday, April 20, 2024 - 8:30am to 11:00am

New Boston Rail Trail - Community Trail Cleanup.

When: This Saturday, April 20th from 8:30am-11am (rescheduled from 4/13 due to weather)
Where: Meet at Lang Station on Gregg Mill Rd at 8:30am (please be on time so you can be assigned a section)
Needed: 8 leaf blowers and 16 people to go ahead of the leaf blowers picking up downed tree limbs and throw them at least 3’ off the trail.  Each group of three (1 leafblower and 2 volunteers to pick up tree limbs) will be assigned a section of trail. Each team will be given water, snacks and earplugs. Leaf blowers will need 3 gas tanks to complete their section.

The last 2 weekend storms left the trail full of downed tree limbs.

In total we have 8 new downed trees throughout the 4 miles of trail. Hopefully, by next weekend we will have at least two days prior to help move the leaves, pine needles and pine cones easily off the trail.

Friendly Reminder, the New Boston Rail Trail belongs to ALL USERS
NBRT IS NOT TAX SUPPORTED
Trail maintenance is volunteer generated and it takes a village to complete a task in a timely manner
This is your chance to help make NBRT one of the most BEAUTIFUL Rail Trails in NH! Thank you!
