State of NH Proclamation re: Outdoor Burning

Note from New Boston Forest Fire Warden Cliff Plourde:  The Online Permitting Process is suspended until further notice. Only Class 1 and Class 2 fires will be permitted on privately owned lands. Contact a Deputy Warden to obtain a written fire permit. Permit's will be issued on a case by case basis. If you are in possession of a Seasonal Class 1 or 2 Permit you are allowed to continue burning. However, due to the extreme dry conditions and current drought situation we ask that you use extreme caution in kindling fires. Please refer to the back of your permit or the body of your online permit for information on your responsibilities before kindling a fire.
