Cemetery Road Cemetery

“Just before Memorial Day every year, volunteers gather with a 5th grade class from New Boston Central School at the town cemetery on Cemetery Road to place flags next to U.S. Military Veteran’s graves.  Maps have been created to record where U.S Military Veteran’s graves are located as accurately as possible so flags can be put next to them in honor of their service.  Electronic copies of the maps are here.  This information has been derived from many hours of volunteer effort, and in working with members of the New Boston Cemetery Committee.   Because this information has mostly been gathered by volunteers, it may not be completely accurate and we apologize for any mistakes.

A flag is placed where a circle is indicated on the survey maps.   Anyone who notices an error in this information, or sees a flag missing at the grave of a friend or family member that was a U.S. Military Veteran, should feel free to call one of the volunteers below. The survey map will be updated  and a flag will be placed in the appropriate spot at the cemetery.  The flags are taken down  just before the Thanksgiving holiday each November.
