Trunk or Treat
The Creepy Cafe

Ready for a fun filled Halloween?  New Boston Recreation will offer:
Trunk-or Treat in the Town Hall parking lot
Creepy Café at the Town Hall Concession Shed
Trick-or-Treating at the Old Engine House (NB Recreation Office)  

Scarecrow winners will also be announced at 6:00 pm.

Trunk or Treat

More New Boston residents will have the opportunity to participate in the town’s Traditional Trick-or-Treat fun. New Boston residents will be able to register for a limited number of parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot so they can park and decorate their vehicle for incoming Trick-or-Treaters.They are encouraged to dress in costume and hand out treats to Trick-or-Treaters. Since the New Boston village is the central location for most Trick-or-Treating, this event will add more stops for the Trick-or-Treaters and included more families who may not get Trick-or-Treaters at their home. There will also be a contest for the best decorated vehicles. Make it a family affair and have fun with it!

        >>  Register your vehicle for one of up to 15 parking spots in the Town Hall parking lot for $10.
        >>  Registration starts Monday, October 2 at the Old Engine House (NB Recreation Office)
        >>  You can park, set- up and start decorating at 4:45pm (must be parked by 5:30pm).
        >>  Judging is at 5:45pm. Trick-or-Treat is 6:00-8:00 pm.  Winners will be announced at 6:00 pm
        >>  You must clean up your parking spot and vacate it by 9:00pm.
        >>  Your vehicle must be legally registered and non-commercial.  No trailers.  One vehicle per spot.
        >>  Your decorations need to be family appropriate; no gore, vulgar or excessively scary themes.
        >>  You need to bring all your own supplies including candy/treats to hand out to Trick-or-Treaters.
        >>  There is no access to electricity. If you want lighting you must supply your own power source.
                     No generators, only battery operated decorations please.

The Creepy Cafe

The New Boston Recreation will open the Town Hall Concession Shed a.k.a. The Creepy Café from 4:45 - 7:30 pm with snacks, water, hot chocolate and soft drinks.

Trick or Treat

Visit the Old Engine House (New Boston Recreation office) from 6:00-8:00 pm as part of your trick or treat route.

As always the New Boston Recreation and Whipple Free Library welcome donations of candy/treats.  The village area of New Boston receives a high volume of Trick-or-Treaters and your donation helps to defray their expense.  We distribute your donations to the residents in the village area.
